At the dawn of its fourth edition, the Museum adds another level of interpretation of the jewel that concerns the territory, in terms of creativity and manufacturing, presenting the creative, artistic, productive and technological excellence of the Italian jewel. 9 rooms to discover presenting a selection entirely Italian, dedicated to the production of both large Maison and small and medium-sized companies in the goldsmiths districts of the territory, to artisanal excellence, artistic experimentation and the search for independent designers.
Inside the Sala del Simbolo the semiotic dimension of the jewel is deepened. The jewel is traditionally a symbol: of power, religion, royalty, social prestige, patriotism, but also of the varied feelings that bind human beings: love, friendship, fidelity, mourning. The jewel also symbolizes the identity and manufacturing excellence of the territories and Italy can boast excellent goldsmith territories such as Vicenza, Valencia, Arezzo, Torre del Greco, territories where know-how and craft culture have settled over time giving us the wonderful jewels.
