Damiani & Borsalino together with an exclusive collaboration
Damiani and Borsalino have entered into a special partnership for the Damiani Centenary.
Symbolizing Italian excellence worldwide, the coming together of these two companies has led to the creation of three unique Borsalino hats, each made even more precious by the combination of jewels from three of the most iconic Damiani collections. These pieces thus become a concrete sign of the union of two paradigms of luxury manufacturing excellence, which share not only a deep link with their territory of origin – the Piedmont region – but also a strong artisanal vocation.
Nina, Borsalino’s ultra-elegant, slightly retro cloche, proposed here in black, has been paired with Belle Époque, the line inspired by the charm and joie de vivre of this unique historical period. The cloche features a refined white gold and diamond element on the band – reminiscent of the collection’s signature film reel motif – and two matching pendants that drop from the sides like precious earrings.
A timeless symbol of Borsalino’s first-rate excellence, the Sophie hat has been paired with Mimosa, the epitome of Damiani’s extraordinary artisanal vocation with its “apparent chaos” design, the innovative technique that harmoniously combines stones of different sizes and cuts. This wood-brown style is embellished by a chain around the base of the crown and a sautoir necklace – both in pink gold, diamonds and Australian pearls – that hangs like a luxurious cord from the hat.
To give a new sporty interpretation to the Borsalino Baseball, proposed here in amethyst purple, Damiani has chosen the Margherita collection with its floral element reminiscent of an elegant daisy. The cap’s crown is decorated with ten solitaire daisies in pink gold, brown diamonds and amethysts of various sizes, one of which can be replaced with a beautiful brooch, made using the same precious materials.
