Once again, Damiani Group has partnered with this year’s edition of Gazzetta Sports Awards confirming its commitment in promoting an active sportive culture. The Maison designed the 2019 prize of this important annual celebration of Italian athletes who achieved remarkable results and distinguish themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. Taking inspiration both from the ring of the iconic Metropolitan collection and the Olympic Games logo, the prize is composed by four circles made of yellow, pink, brown and black gold that merge into a precious band. Each circle symbolized four values: Commitment, Resolution, Passion and Character. Giorgio Damiani, Vice President of Damiani Group, attended the Gala evening and awarded the Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini as “Revelation of the year” for his remarkable performance at the 2019 US Open. Mr Damiani stated “We are proud of being part of this important ceremony from the beginning by designing a prize that conveys both the main sporting values and Damiani’s ethical principles”. #Damiani
