Thursday 9 March, Silvia Damiani presented the history and exceptional uniqueness of Venini at the Italian Cultural Institute of New York for Italian Design Day 2023.
Invited by the Director of the ICI, Professor Fabio Finotti, as an ambassador of Italian excellence in the field of design, Silvia described the qualities and characteristics that have made Venini a point of reference for the glass art of Murano in Italy and throughout the world.
Referring to this year’s theme, “The quality that enlightens – Design energy for people and the environment”, the Vice President of the Damiani Group and President of Venini conveyed a sense of thrill for being part of a glassmaker of excellence and for the creation of glass masterpieces to the Consul General of Italy in New York, Fabrizio Di Michele, and to the journalists and representatives of the worlds of culture and design who were all in attendance.
