Silvia Damiani, Vice President of Damiani Group, has been rewarded with the 2019 “MFFashion Veneto Awards – Top Brand Heritage” for her strategic vision to re-launch the iconic glassmaker Venini by taking on new challenges and starting successful collaborations with renowned architects and designers. “When my family had the opportunity to take over the historic Murano factory in 2016, there was a great deal of emotional momentum and we didn’t think twice about it” recalled Silvia Damiani. Venini is getting ready to celebrate its 100th Anniversary in 2021.
